My experience includes wearing many hats. I look forward to new challenges and environments as I settle in to Arizona.

Meet Sherry…

My dad was a chemical engineer and my mother an accountant. In my family, you might say, I wasn’t encouraged to be an artist. My mother said, “don’t get involved in the art field because we don’t want a starving, young artist living with us for the rest of our lives.” Perhaps you had a similar beginning?

In junior high I went to the grocery store with her and pointed out what was truly obvious to me, “Mom, someone designed the packaging for every item you’re putting in your cart!” After that she seemed to get it and my parents supported me in every way they knew how.

So fast forward…

I’ve now worked for over 30 years in Design and Advertising—starting in graphics and now as a Sr. Production Manager. I’ve experienced many changes in the field—amazing advances in the tools we use—a long way from sticky-wax and “key-line/paste-up.” It never gets old! I am still excited to see ideas go from concept to completion in all the different mediums Design and Advertising embraces.

I’ve met some great people—clients, artists, photographers and friends. Even though I haven’t “traveled” much outside the continental U.S.A. I’ve “traveled” the world while working with the talented artists I’ve come to know from Australia, Greece, Ireland, Japan and London, to name a few.

My path now brings me to Arizona where I want to join your graphics department. My background is strong in production management and leadership while working with staff, other graphic designers, photographers, illustrators and stock agencies. With my many successful years in advertising and my background and leadership skills I can contribute significantly to your organization. My strong work ethic and passion for this industry will be a great asset for your company.
